Regina, Friday, August 29, 2008 Safe Saskatchewan Empowers Kids to be Injury-Aware Safe Saskatchewan and its founding partners are excited to be a part of the 8th Annual SGI/Roughriders Play It Safe Day. Last year, the Kids Check Passport developed by Safe Saskatchewan reached over 1,500 kids and their families. This year, Safe Saskatchewan is focusing on providing children with pragmatic tools and interactive information that teach the value of being injury-aware.
Regina, Monday, July 7, 2008 Safe Saskatchewan on the right Track Safe Saskatchewan’s mission of working together to eliminate unintentional injuries in Saskatchewan has been reinforced with the release of the “Saskatchewan Comprehensive Injury Surveillance Report, 1995-2005”. Released in July of 2008 by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health, this report focused on facilitating the development of evidence-based injury prevention policies and programs.
