Kids Check
Welcome to the Kids Check Challenge spot!

Are you looking for a fun and interactive way to incorporate safety into your next family event? Safe Saskatchewan has been developing a kids program that gives youth the chance to be proactive with their personal safety. Rather than pointing out potential physical hazards (for example, a crack in the sidewalk) which children have no control over, it’s important to show kids the behaviour and attitudes that hurt them – fatigue, frustration, rushing and complacency. And that is the focus of this Kids Check Challenge.
Use Rebecca’s Community sheet to identify who is being safe and who isn’t. Or set up The Rebecca Trail and follow her instructions/answer her questions to earn all 10 safety badges. You can also go online to safesask.com and check out the Fact or Fiction Test and the Did you Know? section. It all ties together with Rebecca’s Video Story and Rebecca’s Diary.
