Safe Saskatchewan realizes that a major impediment to moving Saskatchewan farm safety culture forward is the fact that farmers are forced to compete with the clock. In fact, agriculture is the fourth most dangerous industry in Canada and half of all machine-related injuries happen between the months of August and October.

Building on 20 years of leadership in agricultural safety and rural health issues, they have evolved into a new national centre of excellence which has an expanded mandate in the field of agricultural safety, rural health, delivery of training programs and knowledge translation.
