About Us

Safe Saskatchewan is a registered not-for-profit organization established by a private-sector, public-sector coalition with the objective of achieving a continuous reduction in the number of unintentional injuries in Saskatchewan.

A three-step strategy has been developed:

Awareness: Many Saskatchewan people are unaware that they are at a greater risk of unintentional injury than other Canadians.

Attitude: Many Saskatchewan people believe that unintentional injuries are random acts of fate. Safe Saskatchewan will endeavour to replace this with "Injuries are predictable and preventable."

Safe Lifestyles: Many injury prevention programs and services exist in Saskatchewan. Safe Saskatchewan will offer support in terms of coordination and resources.
